How to buy Samsung Care+
You can purchase Samsung Care+ with your new Samsung Galaxy device or separately within a certain period. See details below.
1. Buy with your new purchase
You can buy Samsung Care+ with your new Galaxy device by visiting Samsung.com or purchasing from retailers. Visit Samsung.com for more details.
2. Buy within 30 days of your purchase
You can buy Samsung Care+ within 30 days of purchasing your Galaxy device through your device settings, on Samsung.com or the Samsung Care+ website. Go to Samsung Care+ website for more details.
3. Buy at Samsung Experience Stores
You can buy Samsung Care+ at Samsung Experience Stores either when purchasing your new Galaxy device or within 30 days of purchase (available in select stores). Search nearby Experience Stores.

What is Samsung Care+ device group insurance and support package bundle?Samsung Care+ is made up of device group insurance and device support package, bundled as a comprehensive one-stop device protection with support services provided for your Samsung phones, tablets and watches for up to 3 years. You may choose one of the following:
• 1 Year accidental & liquid damage with device support package; or
• 2 Years accidental & liquid damage & 1 Year extended warranty with device support package; or
• 3 Years coverage for accidental & liquid damage & 2 Years coverage for extended warranty with device support package; or
• 1 Year coverage for crack screen damage with device support package.
The device support package is provided by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd, while the device group insurance is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad (Chubb) under group policy issued to Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd, distributed by Bolttech Device Protection Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a registered agent of Chubb.
Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad is licensed under the Financial Services Act 2013 to transact general insurance business in Malaysia and is regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). -
What are the benefits of Samsung Care+?Samsung Care+ benefits include: For the device group insurance, depending on the plan chosen:
Samsung Care+ Plan Benefits
1 Year Accidental Damage: Unlimited repair claims with up to 1 replacement claim.
2 Years Accidental Damage + Breakdown: Includes 1 year extended warranty after the standard warranty ends, with unlimited repair claims and up to 2 replacement claims.
3 Years Accidental Damage + Breakdown: Includes 2 years extended warranty after the standard warranty ends, with unlimited repair claims and up to 3 replacement claims.
1 Year Cracked Screen Damage: Includes 1 time repair for cracked screen, limited to screen repair only. Replacement is not available.
The coverage date starts from the date of purchase of Samsung Care+. Please refer to your Certificate of Insurance for the period of insurance.
For the Device Support Package:
An extensive support for all Samsung smart devices in your home, including 4 main services:
• Device repair concierge service: Exclusive access to express doorstep delivery service from as fast as 6 hours, plus high quality repair services performed by Samsung repairers for all your Samsung smart devices and home appliances with 3 months after-repair warranty. Repair services are for in or out of warranty faults.
• Screen protector film replacement: One-time free protective film replacement and installation per year for an insured or non-insured Samsung smartphone when accessing device repair concierge service.
• Technical support service: Gives you 24/7 access to technical or device usage issues support including smartphone diagnostic, troubleshooting support and user guides.
• Logistics service: Free pick-up and delivery services wherever you may be. For inquiries, chat with our customer service consultants or call 03 9078 4999 on Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. -
What is the difference between Samsung Care+ and Samsung Manufacturer’s Warranty?Samsung manufacturer's warranty covers inherent mechanical and electrical defects for 1 year from the device purchase date only.
Samsung Care+ consist of device insurance for accidental/liquid damage and/or extended mechanical and electrical defects warranty, after the Samsung Manufacturer’s Warranty expires (Extended Warranty), for your Samsung phones, tablets and watches. The Extended Warranty insurance option is only available for the 2 years or 3 years insurance plan.
In addition, the device support package also provides support services for your insured Samsung device and other Samsung devices including Home Appliances owned by you for the entire coverage period. -
How do I purchase Samsung Care+?Getting covered is easy. You can purchase Samsung Care+ upon purchasing your new Samsung device or within 30 days of your purchase. Just choose to buy it from:
For upfront payment
• Samsung Care+ Online Portal if you have purchased your new Samsung device. [Buy Now]
• Samsung eStore, add your preferred Samsung device to cart and check out with Samsung Care+ at the same time. [Buy Now]
• Visit the nearest stores (Samsung Experience Store, Samsung Authorized Retailers, Urban Republic). Our sales expert will help you to purchase Samsung Care+ for your new Samsung device through our retail portal upon payment made.
• For Galaxy with One UI 6.1 and above, simply navigate to About Phone under Phone Settings, select Samsung Care+ and you'll be redirected to Samsung Care+ Online Portal. Alternatively, you may click on the Suggestion section.

Where can I check my Samsung Care+ coverage?To learn more about your device insurance coverage and scope of support services, you may refer to the certificate of insurance and terms of service in your confirmation of cover, sent to your registered email upon purchase.

How do I make a Samsung Care+ request?You can visit https://my.careplus.co↗ or call 03 9078 4999.
• You can choose to have it picked up from your location or go to any Samsung Authorized Service Center to deliver your insured Samsung device.
• We will get your insured Samsung device repaired through our nationwide network of Samsung Authorized Service Center. -
How do I track the status of my request?You can call 03 9078 4999 to track the status of your request. Otherwise, our Samsung Care+ service team will contact you via email, sms or phone call to keep you updated on the progress from time to time.

When will my Samsung Care+ expire or be terminated?Your Samsung Care+ will expire at the end of the plan terms that you have chosen, either 1 year, 2 years or 3 years from the date of purchase. For monthly plan, subject to Your payment of the applicable product fees, Your Samsung Care+ will continue on a month-to-month basis for a maximum period of 36 months, unless otherwise cancelled by You or Samsung or the insurer on the device insurance.
However, your Samsung Care+ will be terminated if:
• Your insured phone’s IMEI number has been removed or changed made outside of a Samsung Care+ request process.
• Your insured phone has been repaired by a service center that is not a Samsung’s Authorized Service Center.
• You have exhausted the maximum claim limit available.
Note: Please see the insurance policy for other terms which may render the device insurance automatically terminated. -
What is not covered by Samsung Care+?We advise you to read the full insurance policy, terms and conditions before purchasing. Some of the key exclusions to our coverage are:
• Wear-and-tear from daily use
• Replacement / support for any data stored in the device
•Damage arising from unauthorized software / virus and software faults
• Failure of device to operate due to network infrastructure or subscription service issues
• Malicious Damage towards the device
• Notifying a claim that is beyond seven (7) days from the incident date
• Damage arising when or as a result of the device not being used by you or a person not authorised by you

Device Protection Insurance is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad (licensed under Financial Services Act, 2013 and regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia) (“Chubb”) and distributed by its registered intermediary, Bolttech Device Protection Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
