How to Enable Message Bubbles on Samsung Galaxy Phones
Message bubbles allow you to keep conversations visible on your Samsung Galaxy screen while using other apps. This feature, known as Chat Bubbles, is available on Galaxy devices running One UI 3.0 and later, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy A series. Follow the steps below to enable and manage message bubbles.
1. How to Turn On Message Bubbles
- Open the Messages app on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
- Tap and hold a conversation you want to convert into a bubble.
- Select Turn into bubble from the menu.
- To enable the feature globally, go to Settings > Advanced features > Bubbles and toggle on Chat bubbles.
2. How to Manage Message Bubbles
Once enabled, message bubbles can be customized and managed as follows:
- Drag and drop the bubble to reposition it on the screen.
- Tap the bubble to open the conversation directly.
- Swipe the bubble toward the X icon at the bottom of the screen to close it.
3. Supported Samsung Galaxy Devices
Message bubbles are supported on most Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI 3.0 or later, including:
- Galaxy S24 series
- Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series
- Galaxy A series (select models)
