Your Samsung Air Purifier is designed to provide clean, filtered air for a healthier indoor environment. Learn how to use its features—such as fan speed control, Sleep mode, Wi-Fi connectivity, and filter replacement alerts—to maximize its performance and maintain optimal air quality.

1. How to Power On or Off Your Samsung Air Purifier

To turn on your Samsung Air Purifier, press the Power button. The device will emit a notification sound and begin operating automatically. Upon startup, the sensor preparation process starts, displaying the air quality for 12 seconds. The air quality is then indicated by color and concentration level, reflecting PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 levels, and gas pollution.

2. How to Adjust Fan Speed

Use the Fan Speed button to control the intensity of airflow. Press the button to cycle through the following modes: Low > Auto > High > Medium > Low. In Auto mode, the fan speed adjusts automatically based on particle and odor levels to maintain clean air.

3. How to Use Sleep Mode

Sleep Mode ensures a quiet and comfortable environment for restful sleep. Activate it to dim the display indicators, leaving only the middle indicator visible. Note that changing the fan speed after 10 seconds in Sleep Mode will cancel the mode and restart the sensor loading display. The Lock feature is disabled during Sleep Mode.

4. How to Set Timed On/Off Functions

Program your Samsung Air Purifier to turn off automatically after a set duration. Press the Timed On/Off button to select between 1 hour and 12 hours. The timer is confirmed 3 seconds after selection. To cancel, press and hold the Timed On/Off button for at least 3 seconds or reset the timer to 0.

5. How to Interpret Air Quality Lighting

The Air Quality Lighting displays the pollution level in dimmed colors, reflecting the worst of PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0, or gas pollution. Colors are disabled in Sleep Mode. To turn off the lighting, press the Lighting button.

6. How to Use Wi-Fi Features and AP Mode

Enable or disable the Wi-Fi feature by pressing and holding the Sleep Mode button for 3 seconds. Ensure the product is registered on the SmartThings app for seamless connectivity. The Wi-Fi icon will light up once connected.

7. How to Reset the Filter Replacement Indicator

When the filter replacement indicator lights up or emits a beep, replace the 2-in-1 filter (Deodorisation and Dust Collecting Filter). After replacement, press the Lighting button for 3 seconds to reset. Note that the indicator may malfunction if old filters are used or the reset is performed without replacement.

8. How to Activate the Lock Function

Prevent unintended button operations, especially by children, by activating the Lock Function. Press and hold the Air Quality button for 3 seconds to lock all buttons. To deactivate, press and hold the same button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.
